HOWELL, Maurice Robert
Peacefully on May 3, 2019 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 74 years. 

Much loved husband of Joan, loved and adored Dad and father-in-law of David and Amy, Michael and Lucynda, Judith and Mark, treasured Grandad of Cameron, Amelia, and Annabelle. 

A celebration of Maurice’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm, on Monday May 13, followed by private cremation.

HEWSON, Muriel, of Macandrew Bay 
Peacefully on April 30, 2019 at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family; aged 76 years. 

Dearly loved wife of Tony, cherished Mum of Paul and Jo (Auckland), David and Natasha (England), Iain and Maureen, treasured Grandma of Gabriela; Emmanuelle, and Camille; Scott, Daniel, Nathan, Amelia, Rebekah and the late Laura. Dearly loved sister of Maureen, Colin and the late Joseph McLeod (England).

A service for Muriel will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10.00am on Monday May 6, followed by burial at the West Taieri Cemetery.

RENDEL, Joyce Orton (nee Wootton, of Port Chalmers)
On Anzac Day; April 25, 2019, our beautiful Mama joined our Dad. 

She died peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, after a short illness, with her family by her side. Adored and loved wife of Cecil (Ces) who died 40 years ago, loved Mummy of Leeanne (Annie), Pete, Gerrard, and Nalene, loved mother-in-law of David, Tina, and Graeme, loved Kiwi Mum of Pammy, and Glen, loved Granny of Sophie, Charlie, and Sam; Amy, Jodi, Kelle, and Eva; Taylor, and Nicole; and Danica, adored and loved middle sister of Shirley and the late John, and Athene and the late Graham, and loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews.

A service for Joyce will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Tuesday April 30, followed by private cremation.

Passed away on Monday April 29, 2019; aged 70 years, now at peace. 

Dearly loved husband of Lyn, loved father and father-in-law of Robert, Andrew and Tina, Kim, Terry Scott, and Jason Scott. Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren.

MORGAN, Derrick William, (D)
Peacefully passed away on Sunday April 28, 2019, with his son Ruia by his side at Dunedin Hospital; aged 60 years. 

Dearly loved father of Ruia and Sharna, much loved Koro of TeAhu, Jai, Matiu, R.j, and Delay, loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend. D will lie at 68 Loyalty Street.

HARRIS, Iris Doreen
Passed away peacefully on Monday April 22, 2019 the same day, exactly one year after her twin sister Mavis Elaine Limburg, at Ross Home and Hospital; in her 93rd year. 

Much loved wife of the late Bill Harris, loved mother of Stephen and the late Jimmy (James) Harris, loved mother-in-law of Tineke Harris and Nana to her only grandchild Sarah Maree Harris. 

Many thanks to the staff of Kilgour unit, Ross Home for all their love, care and support. 

We would also like to acknowledge the love and care that Dr Bevin of North Dunedin Medical Centre gave to Iris over the many years. 

A service for Iris will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford street, at 3pm on Friday April 26, followed by private cremation. 

Flowers optional, but a donation to St John’s Ambulance would be preferred and may be left at the service.
